Messy Dog Walk turns dog walking into a real job on your server. Clock in at the depot, pick up a client's dog from their front door, and walk it around the neighborhood on a real leash that every nearby player can see.

The dog walks a step ahead of you and matches your pace. When it needs to go, it leads you to the nearest hydrant or lamp post. Pick up after it with a poop bag, keep it from bolting, and bring it home for your pay and a tip.

This resource uses the Asset Escrow System. The config, framework bridge and target bridge stay open so you can edit them.

Features

  • A real leash. It runs from your hand to the dog's collar, is synced so every nearby player sees it, and re-attaches itself if anyone ragdolls.
  • The dog leads the way. It walks just ahead of you and keeps pace whether you walk, jog or sprint.
  • Pee stops. The dog finds hydrants, lamp posts and bins and pulls you over to them, lifting its leg on the correct side, with Chop's pee effect from story mode.
  • Poop and cleanup. Pick it up with poop bags bought at the depot, then toss full bags in any public bin or dumpster. Custom item images included.
  • Dog moods. Calm, excited or stubborn. Excited and stubborn dogs bolt: win the skill check to hold on, or the leash slips and you have 30 seconds to catch the dog.
  • A full job loop. Clock in for a random neighborhood. Every client brings a random house, breed and name, and the walk timer only runs while you're actually walking in the area.
  • Pay and tips. Base pay changes with the dog's mood. The tip drops for every mess left behind and every time the leash slips.
  • Four breeds: Retriever, Shepherd, Rottweiler and Husky.
  • Two neighborhoods included, Grove Street and Mirror Park. Adding more takes a few lines in the config.
  • Fully configurable: pay, walk length, bag price, potty frequency, moods, and the leash's length and look.
  • Lightweight: no idle cost when nobody is walking a dog.
